The first American Ace to tie the Eddie Rickenbacker’s 26 victories of World War I

The American Fighter Aces Association Scholarship Program was established to provide several annual awards to recognize outstanding qualified students. This gift from the American Fighter Aces Association and the Friends of the Aces will help continue the knowledge and understanding of the legacy of the Fighter Aces for generations.

Any undergraduate college student or high school senior enrolled in an accredited university, college or junior college may apply on a yearly basis. Applications are accepted June 1 through August 31 each year, and winners are notified by October 1. In addition to the application, transcripts, an essay and letters of reference are required to be considered for an award.
